What are the Alchemical Stages?
The Calcination Stage: IGNITE YOUR SOUL!
Starting very strong, this is the stage of burning everything that is false to ashes. It is the ultimate incineration of all that has masked, dulled, altered, & been a negative influence to your highest self. This stage can be frightening, disturbing, uncomfortable, & you will witness a part of yourself die; the parts of yourself that have falsely attached itself to be a part of your identity. It is also an invigorating, enlightening, refreshing, & beautiful process. By burning the false parts of you, you shed light on the parts that allow you to experience life on a depth that you forgot exists. This is not only a death but a resurrection of your authentic self. This part of you will be happy to stretch itself out of that mold of falsities that calcified over it due to the inevitable conditioning & complex factors of your external world. This is a time for passion, action, introspection, & detective analysis in unravelling yourself of all the toilet paper that turned you into a mummy. Feel the burn & ingrain it into your soul. This is what it means to engage with reality deeply, to experience far beyond the bubble wrap world that is forced upon many at a young age.

The Dissolution Stage: SOUL'S ESSENCE
The dissolution phase is a feeling phase. This is a place of liminality, dream, & memory. We allow the tidal waves to wash over our burnt self, cleansing residue, resensitizing ourselves. We are faced with our memories, our buried traumas & the narratives that they contain. Here, we are welcomed by the heart & the fluidity of life. We play with the gift of creativity through the lens of our inner child. Many things can resurface during this time; forgotten, unrealized parts of our existence that need to be seen now. It is a beautiful experience & opens many doorways into the subtler parts of our reality. It is a time to embrace emotions, senses, creativity, fluidity, grace, & compassion. To see yourself with forgiveness & surrender to the vastness of the ocean of life. Meditation, stillness, & silence can also aid you very well during this time. The present moment accepts you with open arms. Things become clearer, your breathing deeper & your mind's troubles lessen as burdens are reclaimed by the ocean. The connection you can cultivate with the world around you through dissolution will bring you great happiness. Test the waters!

The Separation Stage: LIMINAL LANDS
Here, we zoom in further to what the separation of different parts of ourselves entails. The name of the game is discernment. The endgame is the establishment of sovereignty. Experience individuality in its depths. Experiment & discover what comfortable boundaries looks like. We embrace the aimless wandering of life & forge our compass anew. Here we traverse the separation of our thoughts from identity. To view the world as an observer & not an absorber. We test our skills & gain our footing. There are many moving parts to this stage. It can bring about isolation, silence, & stillness. It is a test of your resolve. Are you capable of conjuring the vigour & faith necessary to establish your new world? When there's no one to tell you, "it will work out". When progress is invisible. When life gets convoluted. When you're forced to revisit why you started in the first place. When you don't see the reward or the light at the end of the tunnel. This is a very difficult phase. Many people forget all of the magick that lit up their world & the progress doesn't seem like accomplishments anymore. This is what pushes you to stand in your power. If you remain steadfast, traversing this path, let the sky be your guide, eyes forward not past, trust me when I say you're in for a blast. Your worries will surely subside & you will not deny, every bit of your effort was a blessing in disguise.
